Mila Kunis, who lost 20 pounds to play a ballerina in Black Swan, says people who complain they just “can’t” lose weight are liars, because it’s possible with proper diet and exercise.
“I’m a huge foodie, I love food!” Kunis says in the September 2011 issue of UK Glamour. “But when people say, ‘I can’t lose weight’, [I say] no, you can. Your body can do everything and anything. You just have to want to do it.”
Mila’s Weight Dropped from 115 Lbs. to 95
The 5’3″ Mila, who slimmed down from 115 to 95 pounds for Black Swan, experienced first-hand how dramatically diet and exercise can change one’s physique.
“I don’t think I ever fully realized what a human body is capable of doing,” recounts Kunis, who went on a low-calorie diet and underwent hours of dance training for Black Swan.
“But I think I was also, in a beautiful way, incredibly naïve. I believed I could do anything. I never for one moment thought that I couldn’t do it. I believe in hard work. In self-drive and self-worth.”
‘I Looked Disgusting at 95 Pounds’
While being a size zero is the Holy Grail in Hollywood, Mila, 27, was unhappy with her scary-skinny body.
“I had no shape, no boobs, no *ss. All you saw was bone. In real life, it looked disgusting, but in photographs and on film, it looked amazing.”
Kunis, who’s hailed for her exotic good looks, takes her striking beauty in stride, saying she finds it odd that people find her beautiful.
Sesame Street’s upcoming 42nd season promises a gaggle of celebrity guests who’ll frolic with children and puppets — as well as some skits based on pop-culture references.

Everyone wants to know what turns Mila Kunis on. Well, you can start by making her laugh.
“Humor is an amazing quality to have,” the actress, 27, tells British Glamour when asked about attractive qualities in a man. “I like sarcasm, satire, self-deprecating humor. But I also think there’s something to be said for not looking for anything and being pleasantly surprised.”
Justin Timberlake – he’s a funny guy. “He’s incredibly funny, we laughed a lot on set,” she admits. But the rumors aren’t true, she adds. The Friends With Benefits costars aren’t dating.
“[It's] an unfortunate thing that comes with the circumstances, but there’s no truth to it whatsoever,” she says.
And what about that on-stage grope at the MTV Movie Awards in June? That was the network’s idea. “We thought it was hilarious, and we were promoting an R-rated comedy,” says Kunis in the September issue of Glamour, on sale this Thursday.
In any case, Kunis has gotten used to being linked romantically with just about anyone. “Being single, I find myself not being able to be in a room with a man without, the next day, I’m dating that man,” she says. “That happened for a solid six months [after Black Swan] when maybe – maybe! – I’d been in the same room.”
Not that she’s totally opposed to all the attention. In particular, she think it’s hilarious that she was deemed the “Holy Grail of Hot” by Spike TV this summer.
“It’s insane,” she says. “Listen, I couldn’t be happier to get any of this, because I think it’s hysterical and it makes all my friends laugh. If somebody finds me attractive, God bless them, I think it’s fantastic.”
